Chipolopolo Coach Beston Chambeshi has named his final 22 member squad with England duo Patson Daka and Encok Mwepu headlining the selection for the back-to-back 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The final squad comprises seven foreign based players who will feature against Mauritania and Tunisia.
Among those called is Goalkeeper Mwenya Chibwe who plays for Baroka football Club in South Africa, Swedish based attacking midfielder Edward Chilufya.
Others are Defender Tandi Mwape from Democratic Republic of Congo giants TP Mazembe, Lubambo Musonda, who is on tabs for AC Horsens of Denmark and Clatous Chama of RS berkane in Morocco.
Boyd Musonda and Solomon Sakala have also returned to the senior national team joining Prosper Chiluya who has been with the team for a while.
Meanwhile fifteen local players have made the cut that also comprises Roderick Kabwe who is on the verge of switching clubs.
Zambia will be away to Mauritania on September 3rd before hosting Tunisia on the 7th at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola in Group B matches.
