Muchinga Constituency Member of Parliament Emmanuel Banda has partnered with celebrities address the challenges the people of Kabansa in Chieftainess Serenje’s Area go through.
Mr Banda has partnered with Dambisa, Remmy Kangwa and Mercy Mbewe who have donated to Kabansa and Chisomo.
“I have noted with interest a story on social media regarding the bridge in Kabansa area of Chieftainess Serenje where people cross using cables so my interaction with these celebrities is part of my efforts to engage stakeholders among them the Office of the Vice President, ZESCO and Ministry of Defence to work on a bridge where the people of Kabansa use a rope to cross,” he said.
He said Kabansa has numerous challenges of which he has informed higher authorities to help in addressing them, including Kaombe area which needs education and health services.
Mr Banda said people should exercise some patience as the challenges are historical but he is determined to address them.
The MP will be in the area on November 29, 2021 and plan to invite Ministers to assess the impact from a multi-sectorial point of view.
Mr Banda has reassured that the problem of the road will be worked on, school upgraded to grade 9 and address issues on health.
The MP said he has noted with interest a story on social media regarding the bridge in Kabansa area of Chieftainess Serenje where people cross using cables or so.
