CCPC’s investigating Memorial Park over commission payment

By ALICE NACHILEMBE
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) says that it has initiated investigations into the matter in which Leopards Hill Memorial Park (LHMP) requested all its installers to pay 20 percent commission.

CCPC Senior Public Relations Office Namukolo Kasumpa said that it has in its mandate a provision of initiating its own investigations in any matter it deems of concern as provided for under Section 55 (1) of the Competition and Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) No.24 of 2010.

Ms Kasumpa said the public will be kept informed on any further development regarding the matter.
