The Copperbelt University Chaplain John Bangwe has died in a road traffic accident.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said the accident happened when Fr Bwangwe 38, failed to keep to his near side in the process went to hit into a tree on the right side of the road.
Ms Katongo said Fr Bwangwe of Kitwe who was driving a Toyota Hilux registration number ALB 4668 from Copperbelt to Lusaka.
She said the accident happened yesterday July 7, 2019 around 15:30 hours at Kashitu 2 area on Ndola highway.
“He sustained injuries and died on the way to the Hospital. The body is in Kapiri Mposhi District Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem,” she said.
