The Patriotic Front (PF) Mufulira Central aspiring Lawmaker Golden Mwila says the directive to ban the dishing out of money imposed on PF Members of Parliament means that the ruling party has a comprehensive message for Zambians ahead of August polls.
Speaking in an interview, Mr Mwila said though aspiring candidate have been stopped from giving out money to people in public, PF will still talk about the massive development they have done.
He said that giving money to people is just a gesture of assisting people not a desperate way of persuading them.
“The main message we are carrying is the developmental projects PF has done and what the party is going to do once voted back into power.
“There has been a cry from the opposition party that PF is desperate because we are giving money to people in the public, but what am saying is that with or without money ifwe ni sonta apo wabomba,” he said.
Mr Mwila said the message is clear and Zambians appreciates the infrastructure developmental project executed by the ruling party under the leadership of Edgar Lungu.
