Buffaloes topple Buildcon in the league

Green Buffaloes have shot to the summit of the FAZ Super Division after edging Red Arrows 2-1 in the Lusaka derby at Nkoloma Stadium on Sunday.

Nicholas Mulilo and Friday Samu scored for Buffaloes in this Week 4 match.

Buffaloes have since opened a one point lead at the top of the FAZ Super Division table.

The Soldiers moved to 10 points after playing four matches.

In Ndola, Buildcon surrendered the top spot after losing 1-0 to Kafue Celtic at Indeni Sports Complex to see their three match winning run end in tears.

Striker Albert Kangwanda scored for promoted side Celtic.

Buildcon have nine points from four matches while Celtic have four points after playing four matches.

In the other match, 10 men Nkana climbed into seventh place on the table after beating Kabwe Warriors 1-0 thanks to striker Alex Ng’onga’s late goal scored in the 85th minute.

Nkana have six points from three matches while Warriors have no points after losing their first two league matches.
