The Kalundula Star Brian Chilala has died in a road accident.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has confirmed the death of Mr Chilala.
Ms Katongo said Mr Chilala who was driving a Mitsubishi Colt registration number ABD 9588 lost control due to excessive speed and went on to hit into a pole.
“There was a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on February 10, 2019 at 23: 40 hours along Lumumba road opposite Auto World. Involved was Mr Chilala, a famous musician, whose age and address is not yet kwown.
“The accident happened due to excessive speed, he lost control of the vehicle and hit into a street light pole and overturned once. The body is in UTH mortuary,” he said.
