Police have detained two suspects in connection to circumstances surrounding the death of a 34-year old woman found buried behind her house .
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said that one of the suspects is the 29-year-old sister to the victim and her 28-year-old boyfriend.
Mr Hamoonga said brief facts of the matter are that Agatha Jongolo the victim was reported to have gone missing on February 11, 2022.
He said today February 13, 2022 at 00: 05hrs was discovered buried behind the house in Hellen Kaunda where she was staying with her sister.
Mr Hamoonga said the body was discovered after Warren Liyungu 51, who had earlier reported the matter to police noticed blood stains from the main house to the back of the yard and that’s how the body was discovered.
“The scene of crime was visited and preserved whilst the remains of the victim have been deposited at University Teaching Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem and burial,” he said.
