Police in Ndola have picked up a-17-year-old Juvenile who is alleged to have sexually defiled a seven year old girl.
The Juvenile dragged the victim to the bush near dump site off commando road in Kaloko Township and had canel knowledge with her.
Copperbelt Police Acting Commanding Officer Sharon Zulu said this occurred on July 27, 2022 at about 16:30 hours.
Ms Zulu said that on July 27, 2022 in the afternoon the accused person being a friend to the victim’s elder brother, went at the victim’s place and found the girl playing with her niece aged four, and told the victim to escort him to Marys place .
she said the accused instead,took the victim to a bush near the dump site, grabbed her and then had canal knowledge of her.
“Later when the mother discovered that the child was missing she asked her grand daughter and she narrated that a certain boy has gone with her, then the mother made a follow up and later she found the girl coming back with some dry grass on her head.
“The victim narrated what happened and the matter was reported at the police station,” she said.
