Zambian striker Fashion Sakala is promising more good performances after inspiring Glasgow Rangers to victory over Real Madrid on Sunday.
Sakala scored the equalizer in Sunday evenings 2-1 pre-season win at Ibrox.
Rangers coach Steven Gerrard handed Fashion his first start against the record 13-time European champions.
‘I am very happy and proud to play in front of the fans. I really wanted to score in the presence of the fans and I am very much happy with the team,’ Sakala told journalists.
He is pleased with the support from teammates and coaches.

‘The support I am getting from my teammates and the technical staff makes me feel very much comfortable,’ he said.
Sakala recently joined Rangers from Belgian side KV Oostende.
‘I believe there are a lot of things I need to work on and big things are coming,’ Sakala said.
