Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies has directed that all those holding any party position and have applied to contest on any position must step aside till after general elections.
For the Copperbelt, Mr Mwila has elevated Copperbelt PF Provincial Secretary Bernard Zulu to be the Provincial Chairperson taking over from Nathan Chanda who has applied as Roan parliamentary candidate on PF ticket.
These are not demotions but the party system to ensure that adoptions are not influenced by positions candidates hold in the party.
