Chief Government Spokesperson Chushi Kasanda says Government has called on individuals entrusted to manage the recruitment of the health workers to be above board and avoid corruption as it can disadvantage applicants from vulnerable families.
Ms Kasanda said that Government is also calling on law enforcement agencies to be on the look-out for fraudsters who may want to take advantage of the applicants.
She said Government, has put in place an elaborate procedure for applying, as such there is no room for under-hand methods.
“The highest number of personnel to be recruited by Government at one time in the history of the country, the move represents Government’s commitment to improving the welfare of the people through provision of quality health care services,” she said
Mr Kasanda has since called on the people, especially the youths, to take advantage and apply in their relevant professions as prescribed in the advert.
She reaffirmed Government’s commitment to implementing all the promises made to the people to improve their welfare.
