Chingola Mayor Titus Tembo has called on residents of Kapisha to be security conscious and take responsibility over security matters.
Mr Tembo said security is everyone’s responsibility living in the community not just the police.
He was speaking in Kapisha where members of the community were complaining that they are been attacked in the night and their phone grabbing by thieves.
Mr Tembo said that the police need concerted effort from the members of the community to help them fight criminals that are the same members of the community and people known them.
He urged the residents to be vigilant and work with the police to arrest crime.
