Barbra Banda in Shepolopolo COSAFA Squad

Zambia Women Team coach Bruce Mwape has unveiled a 33-member provisional squad for the 2022 COSAFA Women’s Championship to be held in South Africa.

Captain Barbara Banda has bounced back in the squad after controversially missing the Africa Cup in Morocco.

Mwape has summoned nineteen 2022 Africa Cup stars for the COSAFA Cup to be staged from August 31-September 11.

Zambia will face Namibia, Eswatini and Lesotho in Group B.

Shepolopolo will kick off the COSAFA campaign against Namibia on 1 September at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

The match against Lesotho is on 4 September and Zambia will tackle Eswatini two days later.
