A-4- year-old girl has allegedly been burnt on her palms by her aunt for eating nshima from a neighbor’s house in Lusaka’s Gripisi Township in Meanwood
The Aunt 35, has since been arrested.
And Police Assistant Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi has confirmed that a hot spoon was allegedly used to assault the girl.
Mr Chilabi said the girl was locked up inside the house before being assaulted.
He said the incident happened on Friday December 2 around 20 hours when the victim returned home.
The girl has since been taken to a safe house while her Aunt is in Police custody.
