Access Bank (Zambia) Managing Director Mr Lishala Situmbeko and Acting Managing Director of Atlasmara Mr Bobbline Cheembela today paid a courtesy call on His Worship the Mayor Mr Remmy Kalepa at his office where first-hand information on the forthcoming merger of Atlasmara and Access Bank (Z) Limited was shared by the duo.
The two Managing Directors assured His Worship the Mayor that once the two businesses become one, there will be continuity of provision of unparalled banking services to customers in Solwezi and North Western Province as a whole.
The Mayor appreciated the two banks for combining efforts to ensure better service provision.
He expressed delight that the intention to merge the two banks once finalized, will not cause any disruption to clients who depend highly on their good services for the smooth running of their businesses and personal affairs.
Mr Kalepa is also optimistic that the bank will continue to pay back to the Solwezi community through their Corporate Social Responsibility.
