Police in Ngwerere have picked up a body of an unidentified Asian man, suspected to have been murdered.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said the victim had a suspected bullet wound on the back and traces of blood stains on the left leg.
Mr Hamoonga said the body was dumped and left by unknown persons who might have been driving an unknown type of motor vehicle.
He said Police officers visited the scene and found a dead body of an unidentified Asian origin who is aged between 25 and 30 lying dead by the road side of Spinalong road.
Mr Hamoonga said the man was facing upwards and wearing a blue jeans and checked brown shirt.
“This occurred March 6, 2022 around 10:20 hours along Spinalong road 3 kilometers off Great North Road.
“The body has since been deposited in the University Teaching Hospital Mortuary awaiting identification and postmortem. Police have instituted investigations,” he said.
