ACC to hold school debates

The Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- says educating pupils about the negative effects of corruption will help inculcate a sense of responsibility in them.

Livingstone District ACC Manager, Harry Tembo said offering knowledge to young people on the demerits of corruption will help them know how the vice affects society.

He said young people should be given a chance to learn the vices that come with corruption and how best they can avoid being entangled in its web.

Mr Tembo was speaking when he graced an ACC sponsored debate for selected secondary schools in Livingstone.

The schools that took part in the debate are Hillcrest, Saint Raphael’s, Saint Mary’s and David Livingstone Secondary Schools.
