The Anti- Corruption Commission has partnered with the Ministry of Health in the ongoing recruitment exercise of health workers under the Global Funds Programme COVID- 19.
ACC Spokesperson Queen Chibwe said the Commission is participating in all stages of the recruitment exercise.
Ms Chibwe said this is part of its corruption prevention function of preventing and taking necessary and effective measures for the prevention of corruption in public and private bodies.
She said the Commission envisages that the exercise will be conducted with the utmost adherence to due processes, merit and transparency.
Ms Chibwe said the Commission is also engaging the Ministry of Health on the forth[1]coming mass recruitment of health workers.
“The Commission wishes to take this opportunity to warn all those that have applied for the vacancies in the Ministry of Health, as well as those that will be part of the recruitment exercise that it will not hesitate to take serious measures against anyone that will be found engaging in corrupt practices” she said.
She has urged members of the public who may have information on any incidents of corruption during the recruitment exercise should not hesitate to report to the Commission.
