The Christmas spirit is still oozing and the mood, the morale and the hangovers whether spiritual or Beer shall linger on till we reach 2022.
As board of directors, members of staff and management at The Independent Observer we would like to wish you a wonderful and successful 2022.
You have been wonderful in the year 2021 and we have to work more closely with you in another year of our Lord.
In 2021 as you all maybe away we suffered a major setback, the loss of our founding Director Mr John Chinya Sakala (MHSRIP) who passed away in November. This has been a tragedy for the Company and the family. But by the grace of God we are here.
Our promise for 2022 is that we want to be as Independent Observers as possible and give you current affairs as they happen and more of community news. We hope that in 2022 we may be more accessible as ever.
Thank you, to our advertisers Solwezi and Chingola Municipal Councils, F.S Musonda Trading, Naboonga Private School, Joss Lodge and others.
We had many advertisers but the above mentioned firms stood with us and never allowed their adverts to leave our website. Such support was amazing and definitely need to do more business with more business houses.
We also want to salute all those in our WhatsApp Groups, TIO Politics, TIOZambia, TIO Business and Outside News Sources and others that rendered personal help to our media especially during our loss, while others made impromptu calls to assist us with airtime to update the website.
Whether it was a K50 or more; any money that was freely given to us without us asking, was like a million kwacha to help us achieve our goal. Running a news website which requires daily updates is an expensive business.
The year 2021 had a lot of activities, the excitement of electing in the New Government, and a lot other activities, fuel prices, electricity tariffs have been hiked and the Kwacha is yet to stabilize.
However, the dust seems to have settled though not completely.
