Lufwanyama PF describes area MP as failed project

By ALICE NACHILEMBE
The ruling PF in Lufwanyama has describes the current UPND Member of Parliament Leonard Fungulwe as a failed project for the people in the area.

PF Information Publicity Secretary (IPS) for Lufwanyama, Henry Chilombo has challenged the MP to lobby for sustainable empowerment programs for youths in the district.

Mr Chilombo said the MP should be creative and innovative to assist the youths with formation of cooperatives which will result into job creation.

“Cooperatives can be run as a business for our youths, blocking making, fishing farming and farming can be very ideal for the young people in Lufwanyama,” he said.

Mr Chilombo said the MP failed to provide leadership as an elected Parliamentarian for the people of Lufwanyama.

He said that there’s more investment potential that the current Parliamentarian can introduce in Lufwanyama to benefit the local people.

“We feel as a party in Lufwanyama that the current MP lacks a clear vision to implement development in the Constituency,” he said.

Mr Chilombo advised the MP to lobby for proper sustainable empowerment program for youths and women by engaging Government and other stakeholders to ensure development is achieved.
