PF loss in Petauke inflict deep wounds in PF

By JOHN SAKALA
Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General Davies Mwila has dissolved the Lusinde Ward, Kaumbwe Constituency and Petauke District PF Executive committees for failing to win ward by-election in Lusinde Ward.

Yesterday, Mr Mwila had given a 14-day ultimatum to the party leadership in Eastern Province to explain why its candidate Elina Tembo lost the Lusinde ward by-election in Petauke.

But it seems the PF Chief Executive Officer has no more patience to wait for 14 days, he has instead dismantled the entire structures in Lusinde Ward, Kaumbe Constituency which houses Lusinde ward and the Petauke District executive.

This is a first time that the SG has acted in this manner but sources on the ground say that the party members had conflicts leaving the SG with no option but to save the party from shame.
