Nkana camp in South Africa

Nkana FC have set up camp in Johannesburg, South Africa ahead of the First leg of the 2018/2019 CAF Champions League First Preliminary Round against Mozambican side, UD Do Songo FC on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Nkana arrived in South Africa yesterday with a 26-man squad that with face the Mozambican side in Beira.

Speaking when he addressed the team last evening in South Africa, Head Coach, Beston ‘Quicksilver’ Chambeshi thanked Mopani Copper Mines Plc and the Everisto Kabila led executive for according them an opportunity to camp in South Africa and prepare for both the Continental and Local competitions.

Chambeshi urged the players to be more focussed and disciplined during the camping period in South Africa.

The coach further welcomed all new players to Nkana FC and added that it was his hope that they will add value to the team.

“I wish to welcome all new players in the team and we are all looking forward to working together with the rest of the team. It’s my hope that you will add value to the team drawing from your experiences from your respective previous clubs, ” Chambeshi said.
