UPND President Hakainde Hichilema says his Aunt Diana Choongo was an amazing soul.
Ms Choongo who was Chieftainess Choongo of the Tonga people in Monze District died in Kitwe where she went for treatment on November 9, 2018.
She was a sister to Mr Hichilema’s mother, making her more of a mom in Zambian tradition.
With our party Vice president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba we joined fellow mourners in putting to rest our Aunt, Diana Choongo in Monze District of Southern Zambia.
“She ran a good race and embraced everyone both as a Chieftain and mother of the people of Choongo Chiefdom. We will always remember and love you mum,” he said.
