NKANA captain Walter Bwalya says striker Idris Mbombo ran his race at the legendary side and it is time for other players to stand up and be counted.
Last week Nkana were dealt a blow when Mbombo signed a two-year deal with Sudanese side Al Hilal.
Mbombo scored 26 goals for Nkana – 21 in the Super Division, three in the Charity Shield and two in the Barclays Cup.
Nkana kick-start their CAF Champions League campaign on November 27 while they will square it off with Division One Zone One side Young Buffaloes in the Barclays Cup final on November 10 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
