When the matter came up in court on Tuesday before magistrate Bubala Sikalunda, Mr. Billy Nawa 33, applied to have the matter withdrawn on grounds that his ex-wife had asked for forgiveness from him.

He also said he was deeply sorry to his ex-wife and the court.

“I wish to address the court that I want to withdraw the case of assault in which the mother of my children assaulted me. It was sad to learn that she appeared for plea. All in all, I have forgiven her,” he said.
