Chingola Council shuts down workshop in residential area

Proactive Chingola Municipal Council has shut down the workshop located in the residential area because it was a source of noise pollution.

Residents in 10^th Street had complained that one man had turned a home into a workshop and it was becoming a serious source of noise pollution.

Today a team of Council Health inspectors and Council Police inspected the house which has been turned into a workshop at 30 10th Street.

The Council has since ordered the owners to stop immediately.

This is according to a media release made available by Chingola Council Public Relations Manager Donna Mbalwe.
