Chililabombwe Township roads deplorable

By JOHN SAKALA in Chililabombwe
Chililabombwe Member of Parliament Richard Musukwa says the Township roads in former ZCCM Townships are in a deplorable state and need urgent attention.

Worsening the situation is that there is no contractor on site or selected to work on Chililabombwe roads to improve the outlook of the border town.

Mr Musukwa who is also Mines Minister said the bad state of Township roads in the constituency had started bringing about despondent among the residents.

However, he was to mention that some Township roads in the former council areas had been done with excellent drainage system.

And one of the Chililabombwe resident Peter Goneos echoed the MP’s sentiments saying there is need for Chililabombwe to benefit from the nation cake.

Mr Goneos said residents would continue to push their MP to transform Chililabombwe.
