Chingola Skills Training School is poised for significant development, according to Board Chairperson Moses Lungu, who is also Chabanyama Ward Councillor.
Mr Lungu revealed that the school’s board has outlined a comprehensive plan to improve infrastructure, enhance educational programs, and increase accessibility.
“We are committed to transforming Chingola Skills Training School into a state-of-the-art institution that provides high-quality education and skills training to our community,” Lungu said.
The school plans to renovate and expand existing classrooms and workshops, introducing new courses and programs in areas such as technology, entrepreneurship, and vocational skills.
Modern equipment and machinery will also be installed to enhance practical training, while sanitation facilities and access to clean water will be improved.
Additionally, enhanced security measures will be put in place to ensure a safe learning environment.
Lungu emphasized that the board is working closely with local stakeholders, including the community, parents, and teachers, to ensure that the development plans align with the needs and aspirations of the people.
“Our goal is to create a world-class skills training institution that empowers our youth and community members with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s fast-changing world,” Lungu said.
The development project is expected to commence soon, with a phased implementation plan to ensure minimal disruption to academic activities.
