Twatasha Ward Councillor, Jeff Musonda, has made a generous donation of K10,000 towards the construction of the Twatasha Seventh Day Church. The donation was motivated by Mr. Musonda’s personal connection to the church, which he says raised him and his four siblings after their parents passed away.
“My parents were part of this church before they passed away, and I feel obligated to be part of the fundraising efforts to build the house of the Lord,” Mr. Musonda said. “The church provided food and other necessary needs for my siblings and me, and I will always be grateful for that.”
In addition to the K10,000 donation, Mr. Musonda also pledged to buy 1,000 bricks for the church’s construction. He also gave the Dorcas women’s group wrappers as a token of appreciation for their support.
Mr. Musonda emphasized the importance of working together with the church, saying, “I believe in God’s guidance in everything, and it is a marvel to me to be able to contribute to God’s work.”
His family also made a separate donation of K17,000 to show their appreciation and support for the church’s efforts. “We want to be part of God’s work as a family, and we believe that God will pour out blessings on us,” Mr. Musonda said.
