Two elderly men of Chingola’s Fipuya area have been arrested after they administered a concoction for strength to three 16 year old boys who later fell sick .
Police in Chingola said the boys later fell sick and have since been admitted to Nchanga North General hospital for treatment and their condition is stable
And Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba confirmed the incident to the media saying that the guardians of the victims reported the matter to Chiwempala police on Saturday October 14, 2023.
“Brief facts are that two men identified as Daniel Chitantala and Steven Chipoya went to the three boys to have the traditional medicine administered on them so that they can become powerful but unfortunately, the medicine caused the boys to have stomach and general body pains, after that the afraid boys later reported the matter to their parents who in turn alerted the police,” he said.
