President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says Zambia is keen to learn how countries like the United Arab Emirates -UAE-have fast tracked economic development.
The President says the UAE has recorded massive growth in the past years using available resources which government wants to learn.
Speaking when he met UAE Minister of State Sheikh SHAKBOOT NAHYAN AL NAHYAN at State House, President HICHILEMA said government is delighted with continued strengthening of ties between the two countries.
And Sheikh SHAKBOOT NAHYAN AL NAHYAN said his delegation and country are interested in many areas of corporation and to strengthen partnerships with Zambia.
And Mines Minister PAUL KABUSWE said told the UAE delegation that his Ministry is currently carrying out reforms in the mining sector to align legislation with the government’s development vision.
And Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises Development ELIAS MUBANGA said he is looking at learning from the SME incubation system in the UAE as government takes up the Khalif Loan.
