NDOLA’S KAMBA WARD COUNCILOR SPEAKS DEVELOPMENT

Ndola’s UPND Kamba Ward Councilor Bernard Chama says he remains committed to fulfilling all his campaign promises made prior to his election in August 2021.

After conducting a door to door programme to appreciate the challenge said so far he was happy with the construction of a market shelter and ablution block at Tambalale Market using Constituency Development Fund.

The youthful civic leader cited inadequate access to water, poor road network and dilapidated Kapindula Bridge as some major challenges affecting people in the area.

“This door to door campaign is part of our campaign promises. We promised to be available for the people. At our recent meeting people complained about sewer issues and poor roads. During campaigns we promised the people of Kamba five things that include market shelter and toilet at Tambalale Market, to work on Kapindula Bridge, construction of mourner’s shelter at Kawama Cemetery and facilitating access to water connection in Greenhouse and Kamba Infil areas,” he told Radio Icengelo News.

Councilor Chama said the people of Kamba Infil and Greenhouse areas need access to water connection.

“Out of five things we promised the people of Kamba, we have done two things; we have constructed a market shelter and toilet at Tambalale Market. We are left with three things. I am promising that water is coming to the people of Kamba Infill and Greenhouse this year. We will also fulfill our promise on Kapindula Bridge,” Councilor Chama said.

He also saluted Chifubu Member of Parliament Lloyd Lubozha for facilitating development in the constituency using CDF.
