A 28-year- Zambian national who was stabbed by unknown people in South Africa has been discharged from the clinic and is recovering well.
Kelvin Muchinga was stabbed by unknown people on his right hand and the waist on Thursday last week on his way home from work.
According to information given to the Zambian High Commission in Pretoria, Mr Muchinga was found bleeding profusingly by the roadside after the attack and was only picked by some people who later took him to a Mr. James Mukuni, a zambian, who rushed him to Ethafeni Clinic where he was attended to and was discharged the following day.
Meanwhile, Zambia’s Acting High Commissioner to South Africa Mrs. Inonge Mwenya has wished Mr. Muchinga a quick recovery.
Mrs. Mwenya has thanked the Zambian community in South Africa for the support rendered to Mr Muchinga and encouranged them to remain united.
