The recent sugilite scandal in Luapula Province involving UPND leaders has clearly exposed UPND as looters and not leaders ready to uplift the lives of ordinary people in this country.
It is now clear enough that UPND preoccupation is to enrich themselves and their families through looting of our resources in the country as shown in the recent sugilite scandal in Luapula Province.
As a party, we are disappointed with President Hakainde Hichilema and UPND top leadership loud silence on this matter involving their members. We have always seen on how President Hakainde Hichilema has been so loud on demonizing the previous leaders who were involved in corruption activities but since it now involves his member’s he has decided to remain mute. Let him come out and condemn his member’s stealing.
Since the UPND came into power the only achievement made so far is stealing our minerals, spreading more lies, insulting more and increasing prices of goods and services that has made the lives of our people difficult and miserable.
As a party under the able leadership of President Wynter Kabimba, We want to challenge President Hakainde Hichilema to hold a press briefing and condemn his top leadership like the way he has strongly condemned PF leaders.
He has been quick in condemning the previous regime but he is always silent when it involves UPND officials stealing like in the recent sugilite scandal.
We appeal the Unions, workers, students, church and general public to defend the country from the UPND looters. Zambians should expect nothing positive from the UPND.
