WHY IS GOVT PAYING THE LIQUIDATOR AT KCM WHEN THE CASE HAS BEEN MOVED OUT OF COURT

Economic Front is deeply concerned with government through ZCCM-IH move to continue keeping and paying the liquidator at KCM when President Hakainde Hichilema and his government has publicly told the nation that it has decided to move KCM/Vedanta liquidation case   outside court since mining is not done in court. It is almost getting to two years since this announcement of moving the liquidation case outside court but surprisingly the liquidator is still at KCM and getting paid for doing nothing.

As a party, we challenge President Hakainde Hichilema and his govt to explain to the nation why they are still keeping and paying the liquidator when the liquidation case is outside court? Why should government through ZCCM-IH continue keeping and paying the liquidator at KCM for doing nothing?

Lastly, we call upon ACC to immediately move in and investigate the happening at KCM since govt has openly told the nation that it has moved the KCM/Vedanta case outside court. In addition, we want to urge the liquidator at KCM to immediately leave KCM since her services are no longer needed.
