A- 42-year old man of Mufulira’s Kamuchanga area has allegedly been killed and thrown in the stream by unknown people.
Copperbelt Police Commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba said Harrison Phiri the victim was murdered by unknown people who throw him in a stream.
Mr Mweemba said police officers visited the scene and inspected the body of the victim and he sustained a deep cut on the head and another cut on the forehead.
He said that they also discovered that the lips are suspected to have been eaten by the stray dogs.
Mr Mweemba said this occurred between March 26 and 27, 2023 at about 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs at Katenge bus stop along Mufulira Sabina road.
He said the body has been retrieved and deposited in Kamuchanga hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and no arrest made.
