The church should unite

By ALICE NACHILEMBE
Chingola Member of Parliament Chipoka Mulenga’s spouse, Likonge Mulenga says the church should unite if they have to build physically and spiritually.

Speaking in Kabwe when she officiated as Guest of Honour at United Church of Zambia Titus Congregation, fundraising for the church building, Ms Mulenga said that in order for the church to build there should be unity, love, peace and togetherness in work.

She said that Christians are one body in Christ and therefore must be united.

She said that everyone is cardinal to the building of the Church at Titus Congregation because no one is too poor to give no matter how little they have.

Ms Mulenga said building a Church calls for determination and Unity for all of us.

She said no one is too small to be involved in the participation of Gods works.

“Brethren am here by encouraging all of you to take this opportunity of building a Church for God as a time of blessing. There is nobody who is too poor to give. It is from Giving that our lives become blessed,” she said.

“As for me and my family we will be part of this great work and,for the start we would like to contribute 1000 blocks today towards this great work. And going forward we will work with the church till the building is complete.

And Titus Congregation Minister in Charge Rev Violet Sakala encouraged the congregation to be part of God’s kingdom and participate in the building of God’s temple.

Rev Sakala said that if the church doesn’t build no one will build for them hence the duty of christians to take up the work.
