17-people bitten by stray dog in Lusaka

Seventeen-People of Lusaka’s Mutendere Township have being bitten by a black stray dog.

The victims aged between 4 and 40 reported at different occasions on March 9, 2023 between 18:30 hours and 21:30 hours that they were bitten by a black dog.

Police Deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale said the reports are from Mtendere B, C and D sections.

Mr Mwale said police officers are on the ground looking for the same stray dog with a view of killing it.

He has advised members of the community in Mtendere Township to be on lookout for the same dog.
