Chililabombwe Municipal Council and Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company have joined hands to unblock sewer lines in Mukuka Ward.
And Chililabombwe Mayor Lucky Sichone has called on residents of Mukuka Ward to join efforts with the Local Authority and Mulonga to resolve the problem of blocked sewer lines.
Mr Sichone said last month during his routine face to face community interactions observed the problem of blocked sewer lines in the area.
He said Council, Councillors and Mulonga Water cannot find the solutions to this problem hence the need for sensitization meetings to address this issue.
And some residents expressed concern the blocked sewer line poses to their health as this has become a challenge.
The Mayor was on site in W- Section( Mukuka Ward) to inspect the ongoing exercise of unblocking sewer lines in the area.
