A 16 year old boy of Kitwe’s Bulangililo compound has died after he allegedly threw himself into the Kafue river on February 6th 2023 at around 19.00 hours
Copperbelt police commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba said his body was been retrieved by some local fishermen in Kapoto Township.
“The body had no suspicious injuries except a few around his mouth that had the lips and tips of the ears eaten up supposedly by fish or other small water animals. And no foul play suspected,” he said.
Mr Mweemba the body of the juvenile has since been deposited in Kitwe Teaching Hospital Mortuary
