Israel Diplomats attacked by criminals in Lusaka

An Israel diplomat has been attacked and robbed of items worth $4950 by unknown criminals in Lusaka.

Police Deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale said Police in Lusaka received a report in which a Diplomat from Israel identified as Ofra Farhi 59, was attacked by unknown people who were driving a white vehicle, other details not known.

Mr Mwale said that she was robbed of her bag containing lenses, an IPhone,  a Diplomatic Passport, Credit Bank Card, and some personal items all valued at 4,950 US dollars.

He said the incident occurred on February 3, 2023 around 22:30 hours along Manda Hill Road in Lusaka.

Mr Mwale said brief facts are that the victim was walking from the eating place behind Manda Hill shopping Mall in the company of her colleague only identified as Alex to Salova Hotel.

“During the attack, she was pushed to the ground and sustained general body pains, she was rushed to the hospital for medical attention,” he said.

Investigations are ongoing.
