A-19-year-old man of Chingola’s Kansoka farming block has been arrested for allegedly defiling a-5-year old girl.
Brief facts of the matter are that the victim was playing with her friend when the suspect who is a neighbor to her parents called them to his place to have food with him.
The children refused until he got money and gave it to the other kid to go and buy sweets at a nearby make shift stand, he then dragged the victim in the house where he defiled her.
Thereafter he warned the child not to tell her any one of what had happened, but the victim informed her mother that she was defiled by her neighbor.
Copperblt Police Commanding Peacewell Mweemba said the suspect was later apprehended by the father of the victim who later took him to the police where he was detained in police custody.
