Atlas Mara has donated hospital beds and mattresses worth k75,000 to Ndola Teaching Hospital.
Atlas Mara Bank Acting Director General Bobiline Cheembela said his financial institution will remain committed to partnering with the Ministry of Health in enhancing healthcare services.
And Ndola District Commissioner Joseph Phiri has commended Atlas Mara Bank PLC for extending its hand to NTH through the donations of hospital beds and mattresses.
Mr Phiri said the gesture will go a long way in improving health services to both the staff and patients at the health institution.
He also said that the gesture is in line with the New Dawn government’s call for Public-Private Partnerships.
Mr Phiri has urged the cooperate world to emulate the gesture by Atlas Mara.
The donation was done last week Friday January 21, 2023 and others present was Provincial Health Director Dr Charles Mwinuna, and NTH Senior Medical Superintendent Dr Justor Banda.
