3 illegal immigrants nabbed in Lusaka

Police in Lusaka have apprehended three Somalis who are believed to be prohibited immigrants at a named lodge.

The suspects are in Police Custody awaiting further action by officers from the Department of Immigration.

Police Deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale identified the suspects as Khadar Ahem Hasan 26, Mohamud Osaian Mohamed 28 and Ayub Oma 40 all believed to be Somalis.

Mr Mwale said Police conducted a raid at a named lodge along Bimbe road off the Great North Road in Chaisa compound.

He said this was after a tip-off from concerned members of the public that they were some prohibited.
