A-30-year-old man of Luanshya is on the run after defiling his 26-year old Mentally heal (imbecile) Aunty.
On Monday December 19, 2022 at about 09:00 hours, Rachel Hamagona the mother to the victim went to the field and left her last born daughter Joyce Mabola (victim) and mentally sick alone at home.
Ms Hamagona said is grandson Joseph Kamba was not home at the time, he had gone drinking beer but when she returned home at around 18:00 hours she observed that Joyce was limping.
She said when she asked her what happened to her, she revealed that whilst at home alone, her nephew Joseph returned home and had canal knowledge of her in the house.
Copperbelt Commanding Officer Paecewell Mweemba confirmed the incident in a statement.
Mr Mweemba said the incident was reported on Wednesday December 21, 2022 at about 08:00hours, the complainant took the victim to Kafubu Block Clinic where she was advised to report the matter to Leonard Mpundu Police Station.
In a similar development a-13-year-old-girl of Ndola’s Masala area has been sexually defiled by an adult named as Pastor Mika Mapalo, a Congolese National.
He said brief facts are that the victim went to Ndola from Luapula province and started staying with her aunt Rosaria Mwenya.
And on the fateful day, Rosaria Mwenya was not at home and the girl had remained with the suspect who is the boyfriend to her Aunt. The suspect took advantage of the absence of Rosaria, took the girl to one of the rooms within the house, and had unlawful canal knowledge with her.
After the act, the suspect ran away. The victim went to inform her other Aunt, who later reported the matter to Police at Lubuto police Post.
Mr Mweemba said information received is that the suspect is believed to have run away to Congo DR.
