Nchanga Member of Parliament Derricky Chilundika says that Kabondo road that leads to Kapisha cemetery will be tarred to bituminous standard.

He said the construction works are scheduled to commence as soon as the rainy season ends.

Mr Chilundika said the road will be constructed under the Constituency Development Fund and will be the first tarred road in the constituency under the UPND.

He said a stretch of 1.5 kilometers will be tarred as soon as the rains stop,” he said.

Mr Chilundika said also said he has embarked on renovating Nchanga ward Five under CDF; this is in the quest to make the ward standard and more convenient for those admitted.

Meanwhile the MP who is also Luapula Province Minister said that the farming inputs that have delayed are as a result of the system been cleared of the loop holes of corruption the system had.

He said in the progress of clarifying the system, it turned out that the farming season had commenced hence the delay.

Mr Chilundika said government is working hard to ensure that farming inputs are delivered to every deserving farmer.

“We ask for forgiveness from our farmers for the delay in the distributing farming inputs, but I want to assure you that as we go farming inputs will be delivered on time and will be enough that people will be begged to farm, to those that have not yet received we ask for patience as the inputs will be given,” he said.
