Load shedding drags economical development

Concerned Citizen Geoffrey Luchele says the UPND should desist from making the same mistakes that drove PF out of office.

Mr Luchele said using the same methods used to solve electricity problems which never worked, is a very bad sign.
“23 years in opposition was enough for us to plan for this, and 1 year 3 months to see the implementation of workable solutions to curb load shedding,” he said.
Mr Luchele said Zambians understand that fuel increases because of Russia and Ukraine wars but not with load shedding.
He said Zesco should not aim at making prodigious profits at the expense of a common Zambia
“If government is thinking about the lowest common Zambian in kawama and Zambia compounds, let them reduce on the electricity exportation to Zimbabwe and Namibia or create a stimulating 3 months budget,” he said.
Mr Luchele also said loading shedding will easiest way to kill efforts by average means to survive.
He said water level problems at the Kariba Dam should not only be affecting poor and average Zambians.
“Common Zambians that run small abs medium businesses are highly affected by load shedding, understanding that the country’s economy is not doing fine, load shedding will be the easiest way to kill the efforts Zambians are making to survive,” he said.
Mr Luchele urged government through energy minister and Zesco to always put the interest of a lowest common Zambian first in making decisions, cause they are the ones that bored for change.
