A-57-year-old peasant farm of Chililabombwe Kamenza forest has been killed by three people who alleged that he stole their Charcoal.
It is alleged that Rabson Malichupa, of Kamenza forest was beaten to death by three gentlemen using Bamboo sticks who alleged that he stole their Charcoal.
This is occurred on December 3, 2022 around 23:30 hours.
Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba said the suspects used bamboo sticks to beat the victim and two have been apprehended as one escaped and on the run.
Mr Mweemba has identified the suspect as Leonard Malipenga 22, of Kamenza forest, and Julius Simbeye 23 of Kamenza east Chililabombwe.
The body has since been deposited to Kakoso Hospital Mortuary awaiting post mortem and burial.
