Three teachers have been caught planning to assist candidates during the ongoing grade 9 internal examinations.
Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) Public Relations Manager Nicholas Nkhuwa said one is from Luapula Province while two are from Lusaka.
Mr Nkhuwa said (ECZ) working together with security wings and the Ministry of Education moved in swiftly and managed to curtail the plans.
He has warned candidates to desist from engaging in examination malpractice as they risk having their results nullified.
Mr Nkhuwa has however disclosed to ZNBC News that so far the exams have been leakage free.
